I am new to the fitness fraternity and have only just heard about a squat rack. I am familiar with the basic squat exercise, where you lift a barbell and place the bar at the back of your neck on your shoulders. I can see that I will have to progress slowly, using the squat rack to make the exercises easier and safer.
